Dyan Rhodes

(Dyan) Y.H. Rhodes, CFA, CFP®

 With twenty-five years’ experience in the financial planning and investment management industry, Dyan had managed an ultra-high-net-worth individual’s family trust portfolio and the Behring Global Educational Foundation’s financial portfolio as the in-house family office Chief Investment Officer. Dyan still serves on the Foundation board as a board director.

As a financial planning and investment management professional, Dyan focuses on helping clients realize their financial goals through well thought out planning and guiding clients to make informed decisions. From individual retirement planning to Estate planning strategies, to their children or grandchildren’s college planning, to the ongoing financial asset management, Dyan has advised many clients with their financial needs and goals at Valentine Capital, a Registered Investment Advisor firm in East Bay and prior to that, at TD Waterhouse/TD Ameritrade in San Francisco (Merged with Charles Schwab currently).

Dyan earned her professional designations as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® (CFP®) and a Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) charter holder.

She is a member of CFA Institute and CFA Society San Francisco.

She has a Master of Science in financial planning and investment management at Saint Mary’s College of California and a Bachelor degree from a University in China.

Born and raised in Asia, Dyan is bilingual in Mandarin (Chinese), some Cantonese and Japanese. A former soccer player and runner at college. Dyan and her husband David live in San Francisco, enjoying hiking and traveling.
